Security Services
Security Receptionists
Proper control over access is vital to the security of any premises. This may involve manning a barrier, gatehouse or reception and the issuing, collection and checking of passes. Kestrel Security officers, both male and female are experienced in all these areas, ensuring secure access throughout the working day or out of normal working hours. As well as limiting access to authorised people, they can control the movement of goods in or out.
Major Projects and the Construction Industry
Kestrel Guards Limited has a long established reputation for providing the highest level of professional security to the construction industry, in particular the building of roads and has the skills and resources necessary to undertake most major projects.
Our understanding of the complex working and related issues involved in long term construction projects has placed Kestrel Guards in the forefront with many major construction and civil engineering companies.
A tactical model devised by Kestrel for a major road project in the south of England has proved so successful in implementation and transfer from project to project in the United Kingdom, that it has been adapted for other projects abroad.
Kestrel Guards staff are specifically trained to the Health & Safety requirements of the construction industry and are provided with clothing and equipment commensurate with the duties they are to perform.
Our Managers are trained in the rapid deployment of the large numbers of personnel required to meet protester activity, they possess the expertise required to liaise with local police and authorities at senior management level. The security officers receive training in the Criminal Law Act 1967, the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, the Public Order Act 1986, the Occupier Liability Act 1984 and Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 in addition to instruction by the Fire Service for the safe cutting free of protestors who have chained themselves to plant and equipment by the use of hydraulic tools.
The security staff are an important part of the site safety plan and can enforce such additional regulations as the drug and alcohol policy.

Mobile Patrols
Mobile patrols are a very cost effective form of security. Security officers driving liveried vehicles in radio contact with the control room, make an agreed number of visits at irregular intervals to your premises, and at the same time may check on any specific item of plant or equipment (eg heating, lighting, water) or on the correct functioning of any installations if required.
The patrols are monitored by the Check Point Swipe System in order to provide management information together with a system of check calls registered at the Control Room.
Retail Security
The deterrent presence of professional uniformed security staff prevent theft and stock losses from shopping centres, precincts, shops and warehouses as well as providing First Aid cover, fire warden role and on site customer information service.
